in|ter|pret «ihn TUR priht», transitive verb.
1. to explain the meaning of: »

to interpret a hard passage in a book, to interpret a dream. They shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us (Matthew 1:23).

2. to bring out the meaning of (a dramatic work, a character, music, or other written material); render: »
